Kennedy is a dream come true – a slowly growing and spreading dream of an American whippet – that suddenly was my future focus but then the opportunity presented itself earlier than I had hoped and I got the chance to book a puppy from a spectacular pair of parents and a from a breeder – Jenna – with the same hopes, goals, ambitions and values that I have regarding dog breeding. I waited and waited, and luck went my way as there was a male in the litter that fulfilled all my wishes, And now I just have to wait, and wait some more until I can bring my Kennedy home!

Whippet race

About whippet race

Whippet race is a straight race run on grass, ending in a sand pit. The length is around 137,5 m, or 150 yards. The dogs run four at a time in red, blue, white or black shirt and are required to wear a leather muzzle. On competition day dogs will run two heats determining in which final or semi-final they will participate. The four fastest goes to the A-final, the next four to B-final and so on. 11 month old male. Maximumn size, gives a somewhat tall impression. Nice chest and topline. Would like a bit more S-shape. Strong, sprung paws, nice angulation, nice temper. Very beautifully muscled for his function. Is kept in slim condition with somewhat visible iliac crest. Well handled!
